Phase 1: Roles and Responsibilities

1. Partner Role

• Primary Role: Observer and Contributor

  • Partners will primarily observe the Data Tiles team during key stages of the implementation.

  • Partners will actively contribute to specific tasks, such as documentation, testing, and minor configurations, under the supervision of Data Tiles.

• Focus Areas for Learning:

  • Understanding client requirements and translating them into technical designs.

  • Configuring Latttice’s features, including zero-code data product creation (including foundational and fused data products), and data governance concepts.

  • Implementing governance frameworks aligned with data mesh principles.

  • Delivering data products and enabling client teams to utilize them effectively.

2. Data Tiles Role

• Primary Role: Lead and Mentor

  • The Data Tiles team will take full responsibility for the success of the implementation.

  • Mentors will provide real-time explanations, walk-throughs, and Q&A opportunities to ensure the partner understands each step.

  • Feedback and additional insights will be provided after key activities.

• Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute all stages of the implementation with precision.

  • Demonstrate troubleshooting techniques for complex scenarios.

  • Share best practices for client communication and expectation management.
