Phase 1: Partner Shadowing Data Tiles

Introduction

Phase 1 of the 3+3 Shadowing Program is designed to immerse partners in the end-to-end Latttice implementation process under the guidance of Data Tiles experts. This phase is critical for transferring expertise, familiarizing partners with Latttice’s technical capabilities, and building confidence in a real-world, client-facing environment.

During this phase, partners will shadow Data Tiles across three client implementations, observing and participating in key activities such as planning, configuration, governance, and delivery. The focus is on ensuring that partners gain a thorough understanding of Latttice’s best practices while gradually transitioning from passive observation to active contribution.

Objectives of Phase 1

Knowledge Transfer:
- Provide partners with hands-on exposure to Latttice’s implementation methodologies.
- Demonstrate how to leverage Latttice for use cases such as data mesh enablement, data product creation, and other AI agents across the suite.
Process Familiarization:
- Walk partners through each stage of the implementation lifecycle, from discovery to deployment.
- Highlight critical decision points, common challenges, and troubleshooting techniques.
Build Confidence:
- Allow partners to observe and practice in a low-risk environment, where the primary responsibility for implementation rests with Data Tiles.
- Ensure partners are comfortable engaging with clients and stakeholders during implementations.

Outcomes of Phase 1

By the end of Phase 1, partners will:

Have a clear understanding of the Latttice implementation process, and data mesh concepts, including best practices and common challenges.
Gain firsthand experience in configuring Latttice, building data products, and applying governance frameworks.
Be prepared to take a more active role in implementations during Phase 2, transitioning from shadowing to leading with support.

Phase 1 sets the foundation for a smooth transition to Phase 2, where partners will take on leadership roles while still benefiting from the guidance and oversight of the Data Tiles team.
